Tron and the electric bike - 2016

Mission:

To cover electric motorcycles for the British Motorcyclists Federation membership magazine, Motorcycle Rider. Note: each cover has to include a member and their bike.

Solution:

The stars really aligned for this one. 

• Star 1: Kingston University were working on an electric racing bike and were due to be at the Snetterton Race Circuit only 30 miles from the office.

• Star 2: BMF member and TT racer Shaun Anderson was due to help the Kingston Uni team with a track test.

• Star 3: I have always loved the original Tron movie’s visual style.

• Star 4: Photographer Paul Bayfield is also a post-production genius.The result is a cover that simply and immediately communicates the message: a BMF member, a futuristic electric motorcycle and the story of both: how they came together and what the future holds for them.
